As far as Eric and Greg playing with the Buddy Rich Big Band that says it all. Buddy only hired top notch musicians and both of these guys payed their dues playing with Buddy. I heard Buddy compliment them many times when he came down and introducted the entire band after their last set. I really love hearing about all the guys who played with Buddy and above all how much Buddy Rich made an impact on their playing and their musical future. Any one who played in the Buddy Rich Big Band has already received their MASTERS Degree in Jazz. Buddy Rich the legend lives on.

I don’t agree with everything in this post, but you do make some very good points. I’m very interested in this subject matter and I myself do alot of research as well. Either way it was a well thoughtout and nice read so I figured I would leave you a comment.

Im a big Buddy Rich fan,an just found out about Eric an Greg! Wow are those guys great! I think i saw Eric on tour with Buddy years a go up in Detroit. It was just one of those one nighters at a jazz bar, man those guys were good. Great memories, and now a big Eric Miyashiro Fan. Thanks for the video. I just have a lot of photos.
