This is an interview that I did last year with Ron Miles. I finally finished transcribing, editing, and posting it. The interview covers Ornette Coleman, Public Enemy, playing with Bill Frisell, and much more. Hope you enjoy.

Music has developed an incredible amount in the last few decades. I think as a language, so much has happened. I also think it’s wonderful that as a community, we seem to be doing much better. In the past, a lot of musicians had problems with drugs and alcohol and now so many musicians are going to college and really studying the language.
