I'm glad you liked the
John Coltrane animation solo on Giant Steps
.
I still haven't gone through the solo yet to pick out some good ii V7 I Jazz licks to steal. John Coltrane's sax solo is filled with great ii V7 I Jazz licks because that's basically all Giant Steps is. Except of course, for the beginning.
