This is some really high trumpet playing by Jon Faddis. Of course, that's what Jon Faddis is most famous for on the trumpet. The intro to the Faddisphere is one of Jon Faddis' signature licks.

I'm not too hip on the rest of the tune, but the intro is something I will never forget.
