Jon Faddis playing some really loud high notes. If you like high trumpet notes, you'll like this recording of Jon Faddis soloing over Mood Indigo. If you like really loud and fat trumpet high notes, you are going to LOVE this audio clip of Jon Faddis. It's one of my favorites. Unfortunatley, it was removed, sorry!

Favorite trumpet solo ever -- They don't call me "Sweets" because I play sweet, they call me "Sweets" because I like to eat sweets.

The best thing I like about this video is being able to watch Jon Faddis adjust his embouchure to go into the upper range. I notice a lot of trumpet players do this.

He is heart touching trumpet player and his high notes are compelling us to raise and dance. I did like his video a lot.

The JFJONY debuted as the successor to the CHJB at a private event at The National Arts Club in New York in June 2003; in March 2004, the JFJONY performed for the first time under its new name for the public at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College-SUNY.
