Randy Brecker gets featured with the Louis Bellson Big Band on a live show. You can hear that Randy Brecker was already influencing the Jazz world with his new age trumpet style back when this video was recorded. You didn’t hear too many Jazz trumpet players play outside like that.
I had the opportunity to watch the entire video and it’s a really good watch. Louie Bellson & His Big Band [VHS]. Randy Brecker’s brother, Michael Brecker is also in Louis Bellson’s big band at the same time. Michael Brecker takes some really good rides as well.
