This is a basic super hip minor pentatonic side slipping lick where I move by tritone every bar. This Jazz lick is great practice for slipping out of and back into any minor key you are soloing in. Here is a very cool live trumpet solo by Wynton Marsalis with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. Wynton Marsalis plays a lot of interesting licks and patterns on this trumpet solo. Wynton also plays some pretty long and crazy Jazz lines. I hope you enjoy the video.
